Got a parking ticket today at Castle Shannon Station. Know it's my fault, not contesting it. But - it rained a ton at some point after the ticket was left and before I got to my car to see it. It's a nice, soggy mess.

I got a ticket at Dormont Junction once, and the ticket was from the Dormont Police....
The Castle Shannon Park and Ride is not part of Pittsburgh, so PPA is not the correct group to call.....however I took a quick look at the Castle Shannon Borough webpage and found nothing about parking tickets...maybe a non-emergency call to their police department...

is there a ticket stub number? something pre-printed that possibly can reference the pigs' - um...the police's copy? if there is, you can call them and offer that number to see how much you have to pay.

Port Authority AND local police regularly patrol all park and ride lots, so it could be Port police or Castle Shannon PD in your case.

If you don't pay it, they'll mail you a notice. Happened to me when I got a parking ticket on the North Side. As far as I know, I was not charged an additional fee for them to send me a notice. Same as you though - I couldn't read the ticket. It had been snowed on and ruined.

Is it possible to pay a ticket from Port Authority PD online? Or am I going to have to call them specifically some time and talk through my ticket? I honestly can't tell who wrote it.
