Try 10th Street-->Sarah-->12th-->Brosville-->Warrington on for size sometime. You would then take Beltzhoover/Bailey to get over to Mt. Wash. May not be a whole lot quicker for locations on the other side of the Woodruff St Valley but at least you are moving. That approach to the tubes from Arlington/Lower McArdle is a disaster. Brosville can get backed up at Warrington but it's usually not more than two or three light cycles. Fastest way over the Mount at rush hour IMO (I don't live there anymore so don't feel too bad sharing my secret )

Big filming going on at Carnegie Music Hall/Library in Oakland yesterday/today. Same movie? I just rode past and was mostly focused on survival in traffic.

Not sure if there was filming going on at Penn and Wood in Wilkinsburg today. Couldn't decide if the Wilkinsburg police car with flashing lights and the Allegheny Cty Crime Unit van were part of the shoot or a real crime scene. There was a guy filming it and he thanked two guys who were standing while he filmed.
