"10 little things that will pack a big Pittsburgh punch in 2015"

OK, I'm really in a mood to be snarky today. Flu is overtaking the peds practice where I work, everyone has it, we're working overtime, etc. (I'm off today and I'm not going to answer my phone!) Be forewarned.

This list is hilarious, no offense.

Starting a bike share in 2015? Denver, white bread Denver mind you, has had one since 2007; Boulder since 2011. Suburban Castle Rock, in the heart of right-wing conservative country, has had one for about two years.

Good for the lactation consultants starting a mother's milk bank. I couldn't find a start date for Denver's, but I did find an article going back to 2010 about it. Boston has had one since 1911.

Champaign IL (mentioned in another thread as an awful place to live) had community gardens in the 1970s.

This is not cutting edge stuff.

This is to point out the absurdity of these lists.

I get a little tired of the lists as well. It is exciting for pittsburgh because it seems after an idea is thought of elsewhere it usually takes a decade before reaching us. 8 years is quick!

Yep. We all know Denverians think they are the coolest, most progressive people on Earth--after all, they were smart enough to move to Denver! Yawn.

You mean getting called out for a BS post that has nothing to do with reality? Making stuff up to fit some agenda - really bad.
