Eh. Cold weather doesn't bother me much as long as there are intermittent opportunities for sunshine. I remember that night, Gortonator. The roads were atrocious, and people were mercilessly rude to top it off. It really made me question this as actually being a "friendly" city. I just needed to vent that night.

no worries It's winter. Roll with it. It just amazes me how many people on here complain as if they just simply weren't expecting it ...

Slight chance of sun tomorrow. Would be pleasant. Should be nice riding/food delivery weather though. Not bad for mid December.

Welcome to Pittsburgh. The sun will appear sometime in March, except for St.Patrick's Day.

Me also. I'm actually outdoors more during this time of year than in August.

I don't get how people kvetch about it, either. We're going into winter: it's going to be cold, it may be snowy, and there may be (gasp!) grey skies for a few days on end. It's also a good time of year to go ice skating, snow skiing, hiking in the pastoral woods, or hiking on a trail. It's the coziest time of the year for fireplaces, good books, going to the corner bar for a brandy, and snuggling. Pretty soon, the earth will spin closer to the sun for us and we'll have spring. It happens almost every year.

I honestly think that some people move to Florida just so they can post things like: "Wow! 60 degrees today and I need a sweater!"
