I get professional documents from people in their 60s - and they are maddening, because the bad grammar and syntax leads you to believe it might be stating either of two things that are in conflict!

I've had e-mail conversations (about professional matters) with district attorneys who thought it was appropriate to email using text-speak, no capitalization, no punctuation, etc. It's just how things are these days.

Goodness! He could have made that list much shorter by just posting, NO THUGS! Have to feel sorry for the guys who obviously wanted to host a nice, fun event. The thugs are everywhere, looking to ruin your good times. The problem with the world being so connected today, is that you can no longer restrict info about events like this to the correct people. The trash finds out, and here they come.

A better rule of thumb would be if you're throwing an event that requires you to post such a list you shouldn't throw said event.

Maybe people should go back to paper invitations sent through the mail with RSVP cards. Quaint, I now, but it's always worked. Social media can be a real mess.

It takes one ******* to ruin an event for hundreds. College sponsored events were fun and worry free. So sad.

I still don't think this will be the "death knell" of the Monroeville Mall, either, for what it's worth. Wasn't there just another shooting incident not long ago at Edgewood Towne Centre? That place remains busy. Century III declined because it was too close to The Waterfront and South Hills Village whereas people in Export, Murrysville, Monroeville, etc. aren't going to just start driving to The Waterfront or Pittsburgh Mills and avoid the Monroeville Mall.

I'm confused by some of the reports I have read. Shots were fired, and some people needed medical attention apparently. But was anyone actually shot, or was it the case of shots being fired into the air or something, and people needing medical care just due to a garden variety fistfight?
