First of all, I want to thank everyone who commented on my earlier post that this is a continuation of. You were right, it is Four Mile Run that I was thinking of. Today, I was finally able to explore it some. I plan on going back and walking the trail there. I also plan on checking out Big Jim's as soon as I get the money. Anyway, now I have a second question. How do you get to those two houses which are by themselves on that hillside across the valley from that part of Homestead Duquesne Road ( or is it Vondera st. ? ) a little ways up from the Sunoco in Munhall as you're heading towards Main Street?

I'm guessing you are talking about houses that are above Greensprings Ave. If you're on Vondera Street/Homestead-Duquesne Road, you are looking over the valley toward Ravine/Greensprings Ave. There is at least one house on the hillside. It is on a private road off of Cypress Street. From Homestead-Duquesne Road, make a left at Patterson Auto on to Duquesne Ave. Continue on Duquesne Ave until you run into Greensprings Ave by Whitaker Tire and Greensprings Auto Center.

There is also a shortcut off of Vondera Street, if you're adventurous. There is a good picture at https://maps.google.com/maps?as_epq=...classic&dg=brw

There used to be another shortcut, but it is now blocked off. It is shown on the map as Coal Road. It is now blocked off. I drove a car down it a few times.

On google maps, you can right click on any location - a brief menu pops downs, click on "directions to here". Or you can cick "what's here" for the address.

Or you can just be ignorant of technology in general. If you have a basic understanding of what you're looking for you can find it with satellite photos. Or just let others do that for you I guess

Here's a place for you to check out. Still 10 houses left.

You cannot see the houses on google map from Homestead Duquesne Road. The trees are blocking the view. Besides that point, I have a laptop, and when I right click on a location, no menu pops up. The only two things which appear on my screen are a square and an arrow in a circle.
