Did anybody ride their bike to work? I made it to my job in 22 minutes, that's 3 minutes faster than my last bike commute and only 7 minutes longer than it takes me to drive. Not sure the miles but I take a longer route on the bike so I can ride the river trails. Nice morning for it too.

Yeppers, it was a great morning for a bike ride.

I grabbed a tasty pumpkin bread thingy and a gross yellow Redbull from the Bike PGH stand, haha.

Haha, there was one in Market Square downtown and I think another one by the baseball field...didn't check, though. I bike from the North Side to the South Side.

I'm too poor and unhip to spend more than an hour at a time in the East End nowadays, haha.

I've been riding to work for weeks now. Its nice being able to take the HOV lane.

I'm guessing you all mean pedal bikes and not the motor powered variety

Agreed. Gotta love motorcycle weather. I'd like to see the HOV lane out to Cranberry.

Hey man, it's bicycle weather all year round; rain or shine, snow and ice.

When your bike maxes out at like 20 mph and doesn't move unless you exercise, it's a lot easier to stay warm, haha.

Sadly though, no HOV lane.

I agree that most days are ride to work day, but my schedule regarding daycare usually means I only get to commute a few days per month. Used to be more hard core, commuting in the winter from Wilkinsburg to Oakland. A that time I can remember riding when weather was brutal, these days I'll jump in the car haha!

Lawrenceville to New Ken is a tad far to ride a bicycle, at least for me.

In addition, many of the roads don't seem particularly bike friendly.
