It was in the 80's in March that year and the winter had been unusually warm. It's not similar at all.

There's an El Nino forming this year. What effects does that have in SW PA?

Another remarkable tidbit: When Pittsburgh had its first 90° day of the year on June 11, it was only eight days after the first 90° day of the year in Dallas/Fort Worth.
