I had faith in the Penguins that they would not be like Buncher or Continental. Boy was I wrong.http://www.bizjournals.com/pittsburg...ing-civic.html

I can guarantee that is there was any real demand for the North Shore, or the Lower Hill, the teams would move forward with development. The truth is that there is just not enough demand for these sites. Besides, didn't the mayor say that Pittsburgh didn't want development just for the sake of development, but rather quality development?

It's almost 2016. Consol opened in 2010 with virtually nothing around it. I'm sorry, that's too long to see zero activity on an open slate. I love Mario as much as the next guy. In this case, he and partners need to be called out because they're not getting it done, despite how heroic Lemieux was on the ice.
So call them out and get it rolling...and could be wrong but it doesn't sound like there's as much demand as you think there is.

Who's beating down the door?

The people who get paid the big $$$ need to market the property better then. If they can't make anything happen, bring someone in who will. I understand it is not that simple and the demands of Hill residents and other issues throw things a bit out of whack. Still, it is nearly 2016. More should have been than moving dirt around and adding more surface parking. That's my major gripe.

$$$ talks. If it were as easy as it sounds I gotta think it would be started/done by now.
