During the week take the P1 bus (US Steel Tower / Grant St.) to the Negley Ave Station.
Use the navigation on your phone to explore Ellsworth Ave. and Walnut St. I would suggest eating breakfast at Pamelas on Walnut.

Take the T over to Station Square and take the incline up to Grandview Ave. Walk the entire stretch until you come to the George Washington and Guyasuta sculpture named Point of View. From there follow the hiking trail and it will eventually end at your starting point. You get spectacular city views from the nature trail.

Catch the 61C bus to Kennywood Park and enjoy yourself.

Since you are under 21 I would suggest arranging a late dinner at one of the many Carson Street restaurants(weekend evening). After dinner walk the entire stretch of Carson Street from end to end. It should be entertaining for a 20 year old.

Go to the national Aviary, Mattress Factory, and Andy Warhol Museums.

For breakfast, definitely hit DeLuca's in the Strip District.

Lunch... Market Square Downtown. If you like burgers, check out Winghearts.

Dinner, I'd recommend somewhere on Mount Washington/Duquesne Heights. Has the best view in the city. Check out Le Mont, Monterrey Bay, Grandview Saloon, or Tin Angel.

Enjoy your week in Pittsburgh!

Sunday I would hit up Meat and Potatoes for brunch, the chicken and waffles are pretty solid. Sadly you will miss out on the Bloody Mary bar and the Old Fashioned Breakfasts.

Lunch I would venture down to Gaucho in the Strip District

For dinner I would head to Picolo Forno in Lawrenceville. Although you are too young for bars, Lawrenceville is fun to walk around and just people watch. Maybe give Franktuary a try too.

As for Mt. Washington, the Tin Angel closed and the others are not really anything all that amazing...maybe give Altius a try if you are up that way. The Le Mont is great if you are entertaining business men in 1987, but given your age you may be looking for something a little less stuffy. I would head up to Mt. Washington, check out the view, maybe grab something to eat on Shiloh, but other than that I think you would enjoy the vibe of other city neighborhoods over Mt. Washington.

The Wingharts in Market Square is also currently closed AFAIK. Their web site says "Reopening Soon."

Dang, didn't know that - their Facebook page says they are waiting for permit approvals and inspections - guess it is related to their fire?

Yep, they are still rebuilding from the fire. Five guys could do in a pinch if desperate for a burger, but there are some other options right there that would be preferable. Outside lunch at NOLA perhaps?
