I do know it's mainly an older population. Even though it is "depressed" economically, the people who live there keep it from looking run down.

Sad to say that Glassport is like so many former steel towns along the Eastern corridor of Allegheny that have fallen on hard times.

I sure hope that Pat411 got a chance to read those posts before he moved, tho hes probably one of these annoyed people living among us. Twenty two years in Glassport. Theres a lot of good people here too, sad what has happened here.

I live in Glassport now and own a business in Glassport. The police officers are on the ball when trouble arouses. It is a long life town i mean grow up here you usually stay here. People who have bad things to say about glassport need to show up at the meeting with the councel and talk to them. dont blame the officers for your child or grandchild being out of control. I will agree that we have a drug problem here but there is a place to go for help. we doo good things there and i am sick of people that put down their own town if you dont like it move.
