They should shut down a bridge like Pickleday. Call it the London Bridge festival.

It seems like a very nice idea, but also seems like many of the venues chosen for events are rather "upscale". Would've been nice to have had some more middle of the road venues on board - ie Pipers Pub, the Pub Chip Shop, maybe some French & Indian War reenactors to do an event at the Blockhouse (one of the few places I've seen in the States with Royal signs still on it) or even an event in the courtyard of the Courthouse (since there is a plaque on the front of it for General Forbes naming the city after Wm Pitt, and another plaque commemorating the Battle of Grant's Hill).

Hey... that's some good stuff you added right there!

2nd year

Britsburgh kicks off tonight with the tapping of a keg | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Might be a good idea. Britain has a lot of culture and if Pittsburgh can tap into some of that it can be an activity for visitors. Tekko Con is a celebration of Japanese culture, maybe put more weight on British stuff for the various comic Cons.

Will any of the Britsburgh culinary participants be serving fa.gg.ots?

Not asking to be funny or controversial. When I was over in the UK and learned I actually liked haggis, then everything else was fair game. Little bundles of pork heart and bacon can be pretty danged tasty.

That's a really cool logo. I think with the Brexit vote it won't surprise me at all for the UK to look at more closer economic ties with the US and the Commonwealth as well instead of Europe. One of the few things I wouldn't mind seeing Trump do is a trade agreement with the UK, that could benefit both countries well IMO.

I hope the US ties increase even greater but I also don't forsee anything coming of the EU economic threats against the UK either; the EU will do nothing to effect ties to the world's fifth largest economy.

Regarding the logo; I see a new tshirt in my future.
