SPC is in the early phases of creating the draft 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which identifies the region’s priority transportation projects for the next four years. The regional TIP is updated every two years in a cooperative process of local, state, and federal agencies, as well as the general public. A link to the current TIP can be found here:

Transportation: TIP: Transportation: SPC Project Submission Form (Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission)

If you have a specific idea for improvement or a new idea, SPC wants your input on what needs done!

If I use abundant profanity when discussing the Parkway West, do you think they'll ignore me?

Most definitely. BTW you do know they are doing a massive overhaul of the PW now? I don't believe its a widening project but it sure seems wider for some reason. They mist be widening the outside shoulders

What they're doing now is pointless because the highway still won't conform to modern Interstate standards. The inside shoulders will still be nonexistent; many of the acceleration and deceleration lanes at the interchanges will still be too short to be safe, and the new lanes they're adding near the I-79 interchange will be done by eliminating the outer shoulders, which means the highway will have no shoulders at all in that area. It's a waste of money because it does nothing to modernize the highway.

I'm curious, where are you getting your information on this?

Wider Parkways, More Free Parking, Kill PAT, Get Rid of Bike Lanes and Bike Rental Stations, No Shared-Public Spaces taking up vital asphalt, Stop Google and its BS Self Driving-Machines.

There that about covers it....

Did you see half of the form is public transit, pedestrian facilities, and bicycling? If not enough people request it, you will see that happen.
