Instead of encouraging everyone to leave THIS forum via promotion of a competing forum laced with a personal attack against me, why not make a stand to make this forum better? What was the last thread you initiated, Bob McKelvin, and how intellectually-enriching was it? I do tend to agree City-Data has gone FAR downhill recently, but is the American way always "let's cut and run"? That's exactly what has led to the demise of many of our cities and the corresponding rise of the exurbs.

Agreed. The city vs cranberry BS is out of control anymore.

What's the point in bashing Yac? Great, you can outsmart a 9th grader, don't break your arm.

Didn't you move a few times before settling into da 'burgh in search of greener pastures?

The majority of people that move to the sub/ex urbs is because we/they have zero desire to live in any city, not just da 'burgh.

Suburbs are for Squares. The city is where we Hepcats hang.

I moved from one suburb to another suburb to the heart of a CITY and never plan on changing that.

A thread complaining about the forum devolving into idiotic Cranberry/urban/suburban sniping has devolved into urban/suburban sniping? Well, this should be good. I never saw a python try to swallow its own tail before.
