Been going to Hooters since I was a teenager, maybe before that. Not 50 yet but certainly enjoy a good time. Perhaps when I get older I'll try the places you older fellas like.

Sure, I believe you. I'll bet you use that line on all the young waitresses.

That the vast majority of the North Shore places are filled with bridge and tunnel basic bros seems to me a fairly unremarkable proposition. As is the notion that the the Tilted Kilt, in particular, attracts middle aged guys whose wives won't let them go to Cheerleaders. For the most part these are the people who drive into the City but have little working knowledge of the place outside of the North Shore, Consol, Station Square and maybe East Carson Street (which parenthetically sure has changed a lot since they would go out there on weekends in the Mid-90s.) They behave like tourists and gravitate towards touristy locales because in many meaningful ways, they are. That erieguy is a member of that tribe has long been self-evident, which is why his opinions can so easily be dismissed and disregarded on a host of issues.

You guys just need to try those places out, relax and have a good time. Those places that cater to the older crowd aren't nearly as fun.

We just know how to have a good time and not take things like this so serious.
