I noticed Industry Public House is opening in the former Don Pablo's space at The Pointe at North Fayette. I've never been to the one on Butler Street. Any thoughts?

That is correct. They've been working on this for about a month now.

I have family members out in North Fayette that might like this, thanks for the news.

Curious when the Don Pablo's closed.... I was there this spring (it was pretty empty and service nowhere near what it used to be - wonder if they already knew?)

They have a good selection of draft beers and their two house beers ( IPH and Copper) are pretty good.

the food is upscale pup grub and they do it well. I recommend the blast pig burger, fried green tomato caprese, pulled pork sandwich.

their signature drink is smokestacked whiskey's. Pick your bourbon ( or other type if you wish) and your type of wood chip, then they ignite the chips over the glass of poured liquor and encapsulate the smoke allowing it to penetrate the liquid. Its kind of a gimmick, but actually adds a ton of flavor to the drink and is fun to watch.

The menu sounds good and is something different for the typical chains that are in Robinson/North Fayette. I am interested to see how it will do in suburbia, though. Will people bring their kids there? It doesn't seem like that is the type of crowd this restaurant will attract.
