I would think that practically ALL of the towns in Pennsylvania have pre-WWII CBDs. Now as to the health of each one, that's a different story.

Exactly. Some are bigger, more vibrant, and more walkable than others.

The one that I always that was impressive was Bellvue.

I used to bicycle alot in High School 1978-1982, Ambridge, Corapolis, Sewickley, West View, Etna and Millvale had vibrant CBD's back then

Both Oakdale Borough and McDonald Borough have small, walkable CBDs.

Add: Bridgeville Borough and Canonsburg, too.

I just drove through Butler's CBD yesterday, a lot of vacant storefronts. That town used to be jumping. I'm all for supporting Mona Pop stores, but they are getting harder to find.

This isn't quite true. The really small ones, like Neville Island, Haysville, Whitaker, or Wall don't have business districts. I also don't think Ingram, Ben Avon, or Leetsdale have much of one to speak of at all either.
