To me it didn't seem so.
All good questions as you sort out needs and wants vs availability. It is very difficult to parachute into a city and determine the best fit for one's family.
FYI regarding TRAILS: If you place Mt. Lebanon on your short list, you may want to know that it is close ( in a neighboring community less than 10 mins away) to an access point on a trail that connects to other trails ( one of those reclaimed railroad type trails). There will be others, more informed than I, that will be able to provide more accurate info, but I believe it connects to the Montour Trail that is somewhat of a "big deal". ALSO keep in mind that Pittsburgh is a much smaller city, ( geographically as well as all the other ways) and getting to destinations from your chosen area may/will be quicker and easier than what you are accustomed to).
