Also, gg, your post strikes me as conflicted because the "affluent" people tend to avoid chains. I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but honestly this area is doing OK for reasonably-priced, not-especially-fancy, non-chain establishments.

not sure what northside you're referring to sealie, but there's plenty of reasonably-priced beers. I think north of the tracks, it's pretty much even for dives/not dives.
