Arriving Sunday for a week of business in Pittsburgh. Staying downtown but can get anywhere. Getting in early enough to watch SB 50. Where's a good, fun, lively place to watch the game with good atmosphere? (in my 40s with business partners - don't want a college bar but still somewhere fun)

Thanks in advance for your responses...

With the Steelers getting the boot from the playoffs, super bowl watching (at least going out to watch) will be a bit light here. I can't think of anywhere downtown that would be good.

I think i saw the Urban Tap in the south side having specials (The Urban Tap: Saahside's Finest Gastropub and Drafthouse in Pittsburgh). It's an all ages atmosphere & a good beer selection.

Closeby there is Mario's that always has a crowd for such things albeit it's going to be mostly younger.

Honestly though for a big football town, interest dries up somewhat when other teams are involved so don't expect anywhere to be crazy.

Interest lessens, but it will be strong for the Super Bowl.

Not much going on with it since the Steelers aren't in it. Most people I know just have house parties.

Sharpedge downtown has a fantastic draft selection, good food, and a mixture of age groups.

Probably a light crowd though, as others have mentioned.

These are good suggestions. Piper's Pub is also located in Southside and should draw a decent crowd.

Aren't there a lot of sports bars on the North Side near the stadiums? They have wall-to-wall TVs, so they'll probably all be tuned to the game.

So I should be for Carolina? Or just boycott the whole thing? Been around town today, we're really "United in Orange". I got my nails done blue and orange!
