I wouldn't call it a must win but it would be really nice to take a 2-0 lead on the road as that takes a ton of pressure off the pens to win at least one game away. I wouldn't be surprised if the series ended up being 2-2 after the first four games. Might have to bring in Bennett if there's no Rust. Who would have thought back in March he would have gotten the first goal of the 2016 cup final and the two goals to win game 7 of the conference final?

I wouldn't be a bit surprised either. 1-1 going to San Jose certainly wouldn't surprise me.

Agreed! The only thing that's a must early in a 7 game series is for the home team not to drop the first two games.

It doesn't matter that much, but of course if the Pens can go up 2-0, it would be pretty huge and the Sharks would question themselves as worthy. If we split that wouldn't be some great big deal. I do feel the Pens are a better team, but that doesn't mean they will win it. The Stanley Cup is very hard to win.

Sharks know they're worthy either way. They wouldn't be in the Finals if they weren't. You don't get this far without confidence.

Pens are certainly the better team. They just have to play the better game.

I'm thinking 1-1 after tonight, but they seem to play pretty well on the road so I'm not sure it matters. Just don't want to get down 3-1.

If the Penguins win tonight, then I'm confident that they'll win the Stanley Cup. If they lose tonight, then I believe the series will go the distance, and all bets are off as to who will win.

Pretty good bet considering a team that goes 2-0 to start the series, has won 44 of the last 49 SCF.

Interesting there's been no talk about splitting up the HBK line or the CEC jinx.

Great game and 2 wins to go.
