I know a guy who lives in one of those geodesic domes on the same street. He's a kungfu devotee, lives a pretty spartan existence.

Cool house. I'd love it, but missus has hip trouble and couldn't handle the stairs.

Great publicity for the sellers, too. Maybe their agent should kick back some of their commission...

Yeah, nifty but not exactly an "age in place" home.

Now if it were a geodesic *sphere* you could just have it on bearings and rotate the house to get upstairs. I don't know why Bucky didn't think to consult with me before he went with the dome idea, but nobody ever does....

But colloquially, the Highland Dr. VA is "East Liberty", and the geodesic dome is adjacent to the VA.

VA might close its East Liberty hospital, move vets to Oakland | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
