I'm always driving through Greensburg. Maybe I'll have to stop one of these days.

Thanks for sharing! I don't leave Allegheny County much due to my hectic work schedule, but I'm always looking for great new day-trip destinations. I've been looking for an excuse to prance around Downtown Greensburg, and this certainly helps!

We plan on taking another trip to the Westmoreland Museum of Art - haven't been there since before the renovation. I was astounded at the collection they have; it sure rivals museums in bigger cities.

The train station is another gem, and we're looking forward to eating there.

Glad to see that Greensburg has so much going for it.

Yes, the Supper Club is nice place to eat: The Supper Club at The Greensburg Train Station However, be forewarned that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Sadly, I think once their lease is up, they will be forced to close shop or move their location. From the sound of things, an old business partner with an axe to grind bought the train station and plans to force the Supper Club out: Train station sale rankles Greensburg business leaders | TribLIVE Mobile

Buying that beautiful landmark for only 500k was truly a steal!

In addition to the renovation, the Westmoreland Museum of Art was on the receiving end of an extraordinarily generous bequest made by the late Richard M. Scaife Thanks to the bequest, they added over two hundred pieces to their collection:

The renovated museum is beautiful. We made it out for the grand re-opening, it was a lot of fun.
