I think adequate trash receptacles would deter the issue somewhat; but possibly this is less cost effective then just allowing the garbage & then hiring workers to clean it up afterwards as suggested. That's a relevant discussion in my opinion.

I remember in the same report by the media of a trashy parking lot, was also the same report of the city cheaping out on trash disposal.

That's my entire point; it's an ongoing issue of not providing people a place to throw trash away when it's known there's a large gathering that will need it to dispose of garbage, & then complaining there's trash.
If people won't use receptacles no matter what or if it's just cheaper to clean up, that's a different story. Wish I knew the answer.

I'm very surprised there was a report of this incident. Usually when a home team area is "trashy" after a game, which is often, what happens in da 'burgh as far as the home team goes, stays quiet in da 'burgh.

So yes, the Kenny Chesney concert has 5x the number of EMS calls compared to normal.

What's this have to do with trash disposal?

The Beyonce concert had no arrests and no trash. Of course, Beyonce fans don't get stone drunk for six hours before the concert starts and throw up everywhere.

Actually, it starts in the early morning and goes most all day and until they're allowed to stay in the parking lots. So its 12+ hours.

What about the other numbers and what does it have to do with being "trashy"?
