Yes. I heard they re-did it, but that was after my time.

Damn...you're right, I was looking at Fifth for some reason.

I'm still not sure I'd say it's one of the best intersections in the city.

I remember Chuck and Pitt getting into it a couple of decades ago about his stand. Certain powers at Pitt wanted him gone. Being a former Pitt player, he had friends in high places, and ended up being allowed to stay.

This morning, somebody managed to flip a car on its roof on Forbes just before Bigelow. Some guy told me the was able to walk away. Such spectacular driving, but PA plates.

Does anyone here work for public safety or the City's accounting office?

I always have asked, with never an answer, if whether a careless driver is responsible for damage done to infrastructure. The last time I noticed, right there at Forbes as it approaches Bigelow Boulevard, the curb was badly torn up, with rebar exposed. This is so dangerous for tires as well as people who can get their clothes or skin torn on it. This probably happened from people driving on it.

So, a car turned over probably means a broken sign pole, damaged pavement, and whatever else. Does the City pursue compensation for this????
