Look what is about to open in 3 minutes!

PennDOT reopening Liberty Bridge today to vehicles under 9 tons | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Maybe I'll use it again in a week if I need to go out that way if it's still there.

I didn't go near it, I was in my dump truck tonight. I was under weight but I heard state police were doing weight checks. It was not worth the hassle.

I had no intentions of using it, but I had to drop my car off at the dealership on Baum. Going there, I went up Grant to 7th, out Bigelow. Coming back...I was like..."Alright, why not..."

I made it from start to finish without stopping...lights green and into The Tubes. Thank goodness...if I had to stop on the bridge, then I may have had a panic attack...

its crazy how unpredictable the traffic can be. my normal route from cranberry to southside is 279 to Oakland. then down fifth to the Birmingham. normally a 40-45 minute drive. During the closure, I was in traffic as long as 1.5 hours. The day the bridge opened I had the best luck.. hardly any traffic going down 5th. I reached home in exactly 42 minutes. yesterday for whatever reason, 5th was backed up (it looks like they are about to pave it??) it took me my normal hour. Both times I reach Oakland at 4:55. I cant put my finger on the traffic and how unpredictable it can be. One day im on 5th for 5 minutes, the next day im stuck on it for 25 minutes?
