Think of Pittsburgh as a back drop for a Tim Burton movie do your best and smile!

It is what is it is.

If it is debalitating call your Dr. I have heard some people, (not here) benefiting from photo-light therapy.

We here in Columbus Ohio only ended up with a dusting to an inch when up to 4 inches were predicted. Reason being is on Friday night it started as snow , but during the wee hours warm air got mixed in and it turned to rain. The precip stopped about mid morning and we in the city did not get much more of anything else. According to the radar , there was a dry spot over Central Ohio and it lingered over the area all day. It stayed gray all day. Everyone else surrounding us was at least getting some snow. Needless to say I was NOT happy about it. I felt cheated and shortchanged(boring weather), but I ought to be thankful it was not bright sunshine while everyone else surrounding C-bus got snow in time for a white Christmas.

Oh fleetiebelle, you made me laugh! I think that same thing every time we have a storm here (just west of Boston), AND you also proved me right. I commented this weekend on how I hadn't made a run for milk and toilet paper, and my husband told me it was "milk and bread." (I admittedly made a snide comment about being able to use the bread for the purpose of the former, but that's not my point! )

Has anyone you know ever run out of ANY of those three items after a storm?

Default Woooooooooow

At my house in Pittsburgh they said 1-4 in then said 4-8 and then said 8-12 and that 8-12 inches ended up as 20 in and its still snowing. i walked back to my house with a friend and we saw 3 cars spin out of control in 5 min. (only one crased. It was i minor crash into a utility pull). WHEN WILL THIS SNOW END. I was out shoveling a 11 so we could get our car to safty under our deck.

P.S. a large peice of a tree fell on my pourch.

P.S.S. sound like a snow day on MONDAY!
