What people are forgetting is that both he and his roommate are paying $8000 a year. So you have to double what they are paying. So it is cheaper to live in an apartment. Personally, I would live on Mt. Washington since it is an easy commute to Point Park. Everyday I see a lot of students, and not just Point Park Students, walking across the Smithfield Street Bridge coming from the incline or the T. If the poster wants an apartment and the hassles of being an adult that is his choice. I would prefer being a college student with no worries but that is just my opinion.

I used to work at Point Park (and got an MBA from there...)

A lot of students would live on Mt. Washington and take the incline down, walk across the Smithfield St. bridge and go to class.

You can really live anywhere around Pittsburgh as long as its on the bus line. PPU is pretty easy to walk to from anywhere downtown the buses stop. Or try in the South Hills and take the "T" to downtown. Its an easy walk from the Wood St. station or Gateway Center.

I rode the bus everywday to work and I lived 15 miles from town. 45 minute ride. God, I don't miss that...
