I ended up watching from the north shore by the river right in front of the Mr. Rogers statue. That was incredible! I've seen the show from spots further back (West End Bridge, Spring Hill Cemetery) but it was a totally different experience being this close. The grand finale was amazing. It was so loud at one point that I jumped. I can't wait until next year.

I saw it from Station Square. I was able to see it well, but it didn't have the great back drop to go along with the fireworks like many other spots offer.

Is there any way to share the video here? (I realize you wouldn't want to send a link to their FB page.)

I don't know. I'll have to ask my computer consultant (husband).

Yeah, I've seen it from the WEB too. The skyline makes for a fantastic background. I left a bit disappointed last year when I watched from there though because it felt too far away. I really liked how loud it was and how huge the fireworks seemed from the western part of the north shore since it was so close. Has anyone here ever seen the show from the point? Is it even louder and bigger from there? What about compared to station square? It seemed like barge they were releasing the fireworks from was closer to station square than the north shore rather than being in the center of the river. I'm not sure if that was just an illusion due to my vantage point though.

I didn't take pictures during the show. I wanted to appreciate the show. But I figured I'd share this picture from just a few min before it. I love the color of the fountain.

PGH423 -- nice picture! Can I ask where you parked? Just curious...we were tempted to park in Allegheny West and walk around, but opted to stay home in the end because we figured it would probably be crowded.

We watched from our roof on Spring Hill, which was neat because we could see ten different fireworks displays all going off at the same time. No idea what we were really seeing, though...aside from the main display downtown, it looked like there were some over Crafton, maybe Mt Lebanon, Oakland, Highland Park, maybe Etna? It's hard to judge distances with fireworks, so I really have no idea what we were seeing, but it was fun watching so many different shows going on all at once.
