If you want to see something truly Pittsburgh in regards to terrain and housing, I would drive to the South Side, and park near Mary St. and Handler Street. Then take the Mary Street stairs and you will pass 3207 Mary Street. You can also wander around and find some pretty interesting little nooks and crannies in that area.
