What a rather specific question.

I just was shopping at Trader Joes and they had organic California figs, but I don't know the cost. They looked very good though. I opted for the blueberries this time around.

This is a funny question but ... East End Food Coop does. In bulk. Very good. I think Pennsylvania Macaroni in the Strip does as well.

i am moving to pittsburgh and would like a nice neighborhood close to everything yet quiet and suburban with space between homes - walkable yet i want to get to the shop to buy figs quickly and conveniently. i want a home with a roof and a space for my dog to run. the other pets should be happy, too. oh yea - great schools are a must. where should i live?

Fresh Figs? You do realize they aren't grown locally?

Fresh would have to come from the United States West region. Start with produce found in the Strip and then expand outward to the stores that specialize in Fresh Produce. I'd bet a vendor at one of the local Farmer's Markets carries them.

I don't shop at Whole Foods often, but I have seen them there in the past.

New chain seeded by Meijer's of Michigan origin, Fresh Thyme Farmers Market - soon to be serving the Pittsburgh area. Stores in Bridgeville and Pleasant Hills are scheduled to open in 2018.

Much better than Whole Foods. Better service, better prices. Going to bet fresh figs will be included.
