Agree, Pittsburgh and a fair amount of Allegheny County is like that. However, drive into adjacent counties like Westmoreland, Fayette and Washington and it's rather different. Lots of Trump signs still up. I've also seen plenty of confederate flags in those places.

The KKK was active in the Pittsburgh region as recently as the 80's, I'll bet there are still plenty of white supremacists in the area that keep their dirty secret better under wraps these days.

John Murtha and Obama both said it best about rural Pennsylvania in 2008, rural Western PA is still has its share of rednecks and racists. I would never live in the rural parts of Western PA.
