At this point, it’s a tossup between Boston or Atlanta, with Raleigh a distant third.
Can you link to the source that states this?

Me , but I’ll place a dollar on any or all of them before PIT now. Just got a gut feeling from Amazons battle with Seattle.

Seriously, why would anyone want Pittsburgh to reveal our offer to Amazon, unless they just don't want us to have any chance. Personally, I welcome jobs and growth to our old city. We certainly could use it and if hard times hit, which they will, we will be wishing we had jobs here. Times are pretty good in Pittsburgh now, but we will not have it great at some point. Just the way economies work. At some point we will have to start paying down our horrific debts.

Of those three cities, I’d only bet on one over Pittsburgh.

Is Pittsburgh the only city of the 20 finalists to be declining in population. It would be a risky bet for them to come here indeed.

Watching community groups and non profits fight over their slice of the pie in east liberty for fair housing has been a huge debacle. That is tiny compared to this animal. Could you imagine the lawsuits, protesting and fighting if amazon hq came here. Everybody would come with their hands out. It would never get built. It would be a disaster for them.

Valid points. On the other hand, it might be quite popular if done right.

Excluding NYC and Chicago, which have open ended Runs and for the purpose of this exercise, have already been excluded (that is, they are not in the Final 5), the city with the currently scheduled 2018/2019 LONGEST Run (weeks) of the Musical "HAMILTON, will get the HQ2 nod - mark this prediction down.

Regardless of the status or odds of Pittsburgh getting it, your "tossup" claim has little basis.

Boston is extremely expensive. Atlanta has infrastructure issues and Raleigh lacks transit.

These are serious issues for the 3 above locations.

All have their own merits, as do all of the remaining locations, but by no means are those 3 locations a lock.

That is an irrelevant point. It's illogical too.
