No, it's fine right here and the mods will defend my position on that.

Philly is just a grumpy and dirty neighbor to NYC. They are to NYC as Cleveland is to Pittsburgh.

I have never had a pleasant visit to Philly but I have never been able to explore it enough to develop a proper opinion of it. I like the op's enthusiasm for his town but I don't get why we need a Pittsburgh is inferior to Philly thread. If you are board and want to pick a fight maybe try someone a little closer like Scranton or Baltimore. I think we are just too far away to care.

Also I've been a senior member on this site since 2009, so it's not like I'm some new random member that just started a new account looking to troll even though this thread topic is not trolling.
It was unsolicited. It would be like Katiana coming onto here and saying "Denver is better than Pittsburgh because...", and she doesn't do that.

This sort of thread belongs on "City vs. City". Otherwise it was meant to be inflammatory, which, yes, is trolling.

1)You're comparing a city with over a million population and over 100 square miles to one with just over 300K pop and about 60 square miles. Stop.
2)For such a "great" city it sure needs to levy an almost 4% wage tax and a meaningless beverage tax to get any income. Yet streets(and SEPTA) are still trashy. 3% wage tax isn't great for Pittsburgh either but the COL kinda makes up for it.
3)Don't get me started on the sports teams.

Why put such a thread in the Pittsburgh forum? But to invite bickering, strife and a BAD CASE OF SISTER CITY ENVY OR HATE. Philly is more then twice its smaller sister-city's size and should not have to boast more of anything. It should automatically have it proportionally at least.

There already is a Pittsburgh vs Philly thread in the PA forum that got quite ugly many times to me. This is just in poor taste .....IMO. But who am I to see it that way. ..... both cities have seen better days in many of their neighborhoods.

From Google:

troll-verb- informal: make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them.

Yep, this thread certainly fits the definition of trolling. I would have thought with living in what is supposedly such a great city, this resident of it would have better things to do than make a thread like this.
