Leet Township is a small community immediately inland from the borough of Leetsdale (covered last week) on the western fringes of Allegheny County. In terms of its built form, it is a highly divided borough. The section closest to the county line (along Main Street and Ambridge Avenue) are from the early 20th century, and suggest there was a streetcar line going through the area. In contrast, the middle portions of the township contain a number of suburban-style subdivisions off of Camp Meeting Road - some from the mid 20th century, and some more contemporary. I'd share pictures here, but the Google car did not go down any of the side streets.

The "old side" of the township has no business district to speak of, but it does have some businesses, including the municipal complex, fire station, a self-storage facility, a small manufactuter, auto repair shop, and bowling alley. The "suburb side" of the township contains a special education school and a HealthSouth rehabilitation center.
