In my experience, Pittsburgh has more than its fair share of problem officers.
I know that will invoke rage from some posters here who only want to view police as angels.

Links to the “more than it’s fair share of problem officers” compared to other areas?

Who has viewed all “police as angels”?

Frank Rende.

It boggles my mind that the FOP can't see that by not turning against the bad apples in policing, they allow those bad apples to give everyone else a black eye.

I don't know if Pittsburgh has more problem officers than other areas but I know we hear about them more because they are local, if this happened in let's say Baltimore we would never know about it. This type of recklessness goes beyond being an aggressive cop, this is some phycological issues coming to the forefront.

Unions are legally obligated to defend their dues paying members.
