One reason I gave up on using public transportation - I don't want to deal with all of PPS' finest 'students' down in the Cultural District. I'm now one of the evil, evil people who drives in from the the evil suburbs in my personal car.

Also - if there were 40 kids involved in this melee, and multiple police officers responded, why were only two of these hooligans detained??

Because they’re misunderstood youth expressing themselves and don’t know any better.

Two girls were detained, so I don't think this was much of a fight. lol I mean come on. Probably a little blown out of proportion. Media says 40 which is more like 10 and a few others cheering it on. Just a guess. Probably no big deal, just school kids having a little fun.

Too bad this didn’t happen in Sharpsburg - they could have pocketed $24,000 from the respective parents

Actually, the police estimated 40. The media reported what they were told.

Holding the parents responsible for these hooligans is exactly what needs to happen.

Yes I ran past these loudmouth punks and told them to shut the *** up and act like civilized humans but nobody listened. Zero tolerance for disrespectful punks. Lock em up.

Yeah but just having the parents responsible means a change of thought. The sense of entitlement, poor johnny wont get scholarships and it will affect his future is what the parents will say to the cops.

Agreed...but if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime.
