Looking at average temperatures by month in Pittsburgh, we have had only 2 Aprils that were below normal since 2001, so we are well overdue for a much colder than normal April I would say. It looks like we've had a lot more warmer than average compared to cooler than average springs in general during this century actually.

Yes, it is. I remember that it snowed Easter weekend in 1970. My brother and I went camping and lost, couldn't find, a number of things under the blanket of snow.

Ah it is Pittsburgh. We will have a very cold April, a sort of cold May then June will be rain, July and August with almost 90 with 100% humidity, then September and part of October is our nice time of year and then super cold again. Not bad, we get 1.5 months a year of nice weather. Have a nice day.
