They will never touch those players listed because they are too important. I don't think you know hockey that well to be honest. Oshie suspended for a game? Never going to happen. Is he dirty? Yes.

Any one of those players gets suspended if they make the same hit that Wilson did.

It depends. I agree that they SHOULD get the same suspension for the same hit, but if the victim of that hit doesn't have a broken jaw and a concussion as a result, I suspect that no suspension will arise. The NHL often punishes based on the injuries resulting from a dangerous play rather than the actual dangerous play. That's likely why Wilson got three games (plus he's a repeat offender).

Exactly, and agreed. No injury no suspension.

gg, you do not know hockey well yourself.

Oshie is not important. He is a goon with some hockey skills. He knows his next shenanigan could earn him unexpected days offs.

Oshie, like Wilson, is a repeat offender. He has not been dealt with by the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety enough.

Matt Cooke effectively ended Marc Savard's career with a similarly reckless shoulder-to-head hit, and Boston fans were rightfully angry about it.

Didn't Ulf end Cam Neely's career?

Neely technically played for a couple more seasons but he was never the same. Ulf was a goon. Cooke was a goon. Francois Leroux was a goon. You want to drop gloves and fight, that's fine, but injuring people instead of playing hockey isn't good for anyone involved.
