OP, if you really love the weather in Phoenix, you might not like Pittsburgh's. I'm not saying you'd absolutely hate it, it's possible to like two different styles of weather, but it's very different. There are many weather websites to use to do a comparison. Well, you might be surprised that Phoenix says:

The cloudier part of the year begins around July 11 and lasts for 8.9 months, ending around April 9.

Come visit. Everyone's taste is a little different but I'm a huge fan of Pittsburgh.

We have a really strong tech presence here in town that is growing all the time.

My wife grew up in Phoenix and still has family there, yet she chose Pittsburgh.
I'm also a transplant (but from the midwest), and I've been here 12 years.
Moving here was the 2nd best decision I ever made (outside of marrying my wife).
