I was just driving home and have never seen the roads like they were in my lifetime. Talk about huge rain!

It looks like it might rain more soon, so just be careful. People were being diverted from some roads here.

My mom couldn't drive back to her home in Aspinwall because there was a foot of water on Delafield!

I had to drive through it and I have never seen it like that in my life. Been using that road for decades. It was a river! I just can't believe it to be honest.

I guess my area just got hit WAY more than anywhere else. Fox Chapel Road was closed. Old Freeport road was shut down. I never remember Fox Chapel Road not passible. Crazy! Worst storm I have seen in this area in 50 years.

Some people are saying this will be the new norm. What do you think? Are we just scared of everything and so-on, or are we going to see crazy storms like this often?

June and July are typically flash flood months, but they are scattered. Thus some areas seem to be "unlucky". History tells us that flash flooding is common during these months. Hope all is OK in your area. Be safe.

It's interesting how localized these summer storms are. Unlike the storms of June 20th, this batch barely hit my area. It poured rain for a few minutes, but nothing treacherous.
