The Republicans are ultimately going to win because they understand how to seize and consolidate power, and are completely unencumbered by ethics.

The problem is that at this point, a large portion of American's are beyond being able to decipher real from fake in regards to anything, so they see the altered photo, spend zero time thinking if I could actually be real, and then let their shriveled minds run with the idea that Gillman promoted this.

People are dumb and a lot of people and corporations take advantage of that for their benefit, and its not only confined to politics.

Ethics? You mean one party has more ethics than the other? Funny.

We shouldn’t endanger the US’s expansive allowance of free speech because some people are too stupid to decipher between real/fake/parody/satire etc. (or those that engage in faux outrage over speech as well).

Oh I agree, but anyone with an ounce of morality wouldn't knowingly try to "trick" people into believing something for their own gain. We have an ethics/morality problem AND an education problem in this country.

That is not even related to this at all. She willingly took that picture, but here a group took one picture of someone else and photo-shopped it to mean something completely different from what that person said. Saying this isnt horrible because someone else did something that is worse does not negate how improper this was.

Why can't these GOP goofs find actual Democrats "walking away" and post about that?
