You moved to West Virginia to prevent your taxes from being wasted? I’m afraid I cannot take you seriously...WV’s entire Supreme Court just got impeached for corruption and the state has a tremendous history of nepotism and corruption...way better than bike lanes I’m sure...

Zman. I've been waiting for an admission he doesn't live in Pittsburgh. But my bet is Ohio, not WV.

Well when you are adjacent to NJ you look much less corrupt. My BIL is in the FBI and early was in government corruption division. He said they had more offices for that division than the rest of the us.

We are up to about 42 inches for the year (9 1/2 months). Just for context, many places have gotten half of that in the past week. We are lucky!

Lets put it in REAL "context". We are at 43.6" and it is going to rain all week as usual. No totally dry day in sight. RAIN, clouds and garbage weather. On a bright note Amazon should take note of this because what else is there to do around here but work. Might as well just work, if it is dark and raining all the time. Probably why Britain for such a small Island is the most successful, powerful place for its size in the world.

WETTEST YEARS ON RECORD
1 57.41" 2004
2 52.24" 1990
3 50.61" 1890
4 50.50" 1865
5 48.38" 1950
6 48.20" 1945
7 47.79" 1846
8 46.42" 1975
9 46.22" 1847
10 45.47" 1996

On the plus side, my grass has never been this green so late in the Summer, at least not in recent memory. August usually cooks it and it never rebounds properly.

We're unlikely to break that record.
