We did our weekend downtown, and I wanted to post a note about SW Randall, which we did visit.

They had a sale area on the 2nd floor, so we got a ravensburger puzzle, a build kit, and crayons, all for less than what we could get anywhere else, including online.

They mentioned that there will be a big sale in mid-April, where they'll bring a bunch of stuff to the 3rd floor (currently closed off) and all will be 30-70% off. We will definitely come back for that! They didn't have the specific dates of this sale set yet.

Sw randall is an independent toy store. I buy my wife her stuffed animals there because they have a decent selection there.

On Saturday, we checked into the hotel (Kimpton), went to SW Randall, got Subway takeout, spent time at hotel. We don't have a TV at home, so Disney Jr was a treat. Also, Kimpton has a birdcage theme, so kiddo enjoyed pretending their stuffed animal was a bird.

On Sunday, we ate breakfast at the Commoner (hotel restaurant), took T to Science Center. The Commoner was surprisingly good with kids. They immediately brought out crayons and a paper with mazes, etc. And directly asked kid how their meal was... upon hearing that it was not perfect, they brought out a big bowl of blackberries (kid's favorite).

The Science Center was really good, but around noon it got so crowded! I wish our schedule allowed us to visit on a weekday.
