I lived in Taipei for a summer almost 30 years ago. Returning home to Pittsburgh, I had to get adjusted to all the extra sunshine.

First year of being a snowbird, returning home to Pittsburgh, I’m having to get readjusted to the lack of sunshine.

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm but depending on the sun for vitamin D is a terrible plan. Generally, if you're north of Atlanta (some say Tennessee), you'd get no vitamin D for several months a year.

His point is it depends on what you're comparing Pittsburgh to. We get more sunshine than many international cities.
