You live in Lebo? Go to the store on Route 19 down Washington Rd. The may even be Uptown Lebo tomorrow for the weekly farmers market there. Bring up the issue.

I go to the Original Farmer's Market in Cecil when I can get there. Hands down the best market and you really only find what is in season currently. Prices are great and I have never had a problem.

I wish there was one like that closer to home.

No, but I will now! Pumpkin roll: my favorite food group.

Thanks.

OP, seems like an honest mistake, no need to get hysterical and call them scum.

I figured they'd be grown via greenhouse (Simmons' Farm seems to have greenhouses). Another thing that's interesting is combining a greenhouse and geothermal. If you search "Kirsten Dirksen Greenhouse Nebraska" you can find a farmer in Nebraska who did that, and he's growing citrus for his local market.

That is how Phipps does it actually. Pretty fascinating to take the guided tour at the Sustainable landscapes building and they explain how the whole thing works.

They’re absolutely at the Uptown Farmers’ Market today.

I was in the Market Square today at lunch. Went to Simmons Farms stand. There was a line of about 10 people, the sale persons were trying to expedite things.

I bought strawberries, peaches and tomatoes. I was handed 2 bags. Looked down, I saw tomatoes in the peaches.

Went home and it was exactly one tomato in the bag of peaches. The rest of 4 tomatoes were missing. they were put in the pool by the sale person to be resold.

I paid 6$ for one tomato.

To whom do I complain?

Needless to say I will never ever buy anything from these scums.
Something tells me you've gotten an answer, and then some.

OP has the right to be irritated at what happened, but most people are questioning the immediate jump to accusations of intentional fraud and bad business.
