Ben’s record in New England is 1 and 5. He looked bad, but the team looks weak. A new coach would probably breath some life in them, but they will never fire Tomlin for obvious reasons.

False. Ben’s record in NE is 0-6.

Regardless of the reason for the drubbing, I can't for the life of me figure out why the starters were in after the middle of the 4th quarter. Now you have injuries to Ju Ju, Pouncey, Haden, and Watt. Sure, if you're keeping Ben in, then you have to keep the OL starters in, but there was no reason to risk any starters at that point.

Also, someone said above that AB wants "another" ring. The only rings he has so far are ones he's bought and likely not paid for.

Only thing I can think of is that they need as much work as possible, but it’s almost impossible to say that Tomlin doesn’t run most of his players, especially the RB’s, into the ground.

As always, it’s been interesting to read everyone’s comments.

I do agree that AB is where he truly wants to be. That would truly be motivation for him to finally ‘behave’ esp since it is only a one year contract that was signed—- very smart on the part of the Patriots. Kind of like their ‘ace in the hole’ if AB continues his previous antics; but on the flip side—a motivation for AB to ‘play nice’ so to speak.

It looks like to me that Brady is rolling out the red carpet to AB by inviting him to stay with Brady, his wife, and children until AB gets settled into his new city:

After looking at Brady’s house that was previously on the market, they certainly have the room. I’m just guessing that if AB accepts Brady’s offer, he’ll be in the guest house which still looks & sounds pretty nice:
