Since 2008?

Sample sizes matter. They’re only 6 games in and the defense is getting better, but this defense doesn’t rank close compared to some of the defenses since 2008.

Stiller’s have one of the easiest schedules remaining of all NFL teams, but unless Jackson gets hurt, they can kiss the “weak division” good bye.

MNF against the tanking and arguably worst team in the NFL.

Any predictions?

LMAO place is going crazy. Conner rushes for 100+ yards and now Tomlin gets his first challenge win in 2 years. Praise the Dolphins!

Boy the dolphins suck. One of the worst NFL teams I’ve seen in years. They are 0-7. Connor got 100 yards rushing for the first time in nearly a year. Nothing to get excited about with this win other than Rudolph had good practice. Dolphins are putrid.

The NFL games are getting harder to watch. Talent stinks across the league or Ryan Fitzpatrick wouldn’t be playing let alone starting in the NFL at age 36. He’s almost tied Terry Bradshaw for career TD passes. So many bad teams poor coaching, lackluster talent. The games are slow and over officiated. The long delay at the end of the 3rd quarter with the dolphins trying to get a first down and taking forever. I dunno. I have a gut feeling the NFL is in in a decline. I don’t have hard evidence to prove it, but seeing the talent and how the games are over officiated makes me think it.

There’s certainly some very bad teams and the Dolphins are arguably the worst along with Cincinnati, however, the Dolphins are and have been tanking. They’ve been stockpiling and looking to stockpile more 1st round draft picks.

Last I heard viewership is actually up after the dip in ratings linked to NFL protests.

yes, it was fun to watch, because it was nearly a scrimmage.

lets take it, though. the young(ish) defense will go onward inspired. the quarterback got in some good practice. its a win. and not a squeaker, too. the Steelers pretty much dominated the second half, from what i saw. sure, the Dolphins had a fumble (or two?) in the half, but the steelers execution was very good.

but glancing at their homepage....gee, maybe never mind. the dolphins are excruciatingly bad, and maybe the steelers gained nothing.

The Steelers are filled with injuries that matter. I think we should be excited about any win no matter the team we play against. The Dolphins had nothing to lose and were just playing freely. Steelers even with the mess they are in, were favored by over 2 touchdowns. I think they handled it well and we are only 1 game from a .500 team and in second place in our lousy division. Heck we could even make the playoffs. We aren't a Super Bowl team, but we aren't playing all that bad considering. Now we lost Conner. Just a tough year, but if we stay close one never knows what could happen. Making a wild card or first round of the playoffs would be pretty great considering.
