Potential?

He has chronic knee/leg injuries and is likely done, or the Rams wouldn’t have cut him.

Conner is lousy and can’t stay on the field, “but he’s cheap”.

Yeah but imagine the mix of those 2. Conner isnt horrible when healthy. Between the 2 of them when 100% you have a pretty decent RB. If you could split the carries to keep each healthy. Not saying we take on what Gurley was being paid but in spurts I like him.

Even if they could possibly stay healthy, which is a huge long shot, Gurley is too expensive for the Stillers and Tomlin doesn’t split carries. He runs a starting back into the ground.

yeah true, just looking for a change. I really wish we could get a decent RB to finish out Ben's final days.

Absolutely agree, but it’s been reported that Conner is very popular with Tomlin, Colbert has already said that Conner “just needs to stay healthy”.

A quality back isn’t in the budget and unless one falls in the draft we’re stuck with pot luck again. Tagging Dupree has pretty much hamstrung them with the salary cap.

Gurley just signed 1 year with the Falcons.

Maybe this will comfort the Ben doomsdayers a bit.

I really wasnt worried about Ben, it is do we have enough talent for him to take advantage of? I think we have enough to contend but not be anywhere near an elite offense.

Me neither.

We’re a playoff team with him, but not good enough to win anything of significance right now.

I kinda like the Ebron signing. He had a decent year 2 years ago when there was a good QB throwing to him.
