those mayors in that video are all correct, though...but here in America, you cant be honest like they are without being racist or considered a Trump fanatic or something like that.

Possibly you meant that as only a comedic gesture, and it indeed succeeded. I laughed the moment I read it.

I am wondering, though, if you base it on any actual visual evidence or personal experience, because I thought I noticed the phenomenon while getting groceries, yesterday. Cars were driving slower and farther apart, even while approaching stop signs and traffic signals. Seriously, it did seem that way and it crossed my mind that we have perhaps subconsciously ingrained our COVID 19 "social distancing".

Interesting, isn't it?

On a friend's street last night, they lit paper bag luminaria for the entire evening. Some folks opened their windows and played louder music. (mimicking what many Italian villages and towns are doing every evening at 6.P.M.)

Sounds cool and unifying and lovely and hopeful and caring. I may try to initiate something like that on my street if I can locate enough supplies in my house and am able to e-mail enough neighbors to check their reserve of paper bags and candles (oops and sand).

I screwed up and didn't buy a large supply of cigars, my only vice. Anyone know of cigar stores that are still open?

Not sure, but I order quite a bit online, and once you start doing that you’ll have multiple companies mailing you fliers with tons of choices.

Called around and found one nearby, thanks for the suggestions.

My neighborhood is having an outdoor Happy Hour tonight, minimum 6 feet apart. I'm noticing people holding doors open while others enter lately. On a down note, some guy in the men's room went straight from the urinal to the air dryer, What was the plan? Bake his urine covered hands? Crazy times, n'at.

Drove past Topgolf, following grocery shopping, yesterday. Large block letters in their window with this message:
WE MISS YINZ.

It made me laugh.
